£5k Pledge to Macmillan For our 50th Anniversary Year
We’ve always tried to raise as much money as possible for various charities over preivious years - this year being our 50th Anniversay Year we’ve decided to set a target of £5k through various events - watch this space for events that you can participate in and help us reach our target.

Brook and Mayo awarded Best Electrical Contractor 2018
Early 2018 Brook and Mayo entered the National Electrical Industries Awards under the category of ‘Best Electrical Contractor’
We looked at how we could best approach the entry, we fit sockets and lights just like every other electrical contractor and we happen to think we do it well but what is it that stands us apart from our competitors? With this in mind we focussed our entry around the business and people within the business, our employee ownership model (all of our employees are
shareholders within the company) which is, we believe ‐ unique in our industry. Along with our simple philosophy of being an honest, friendly and reliable contractor which has stood
us in good stead for the last 50 years we felt we had put an attractive entry forward.
It worked ‐ In August we were notified that we had made it through to the finals – an achievement to be proud of in its own right.
On the 25th of October 10 Brook and Mayo employees ‐a mixture of directors, office staff and Engineers made our way to The Kensington Royal Garden Hotel London.
When the proceedings got round to our category we were delighted to have been called out as winners of our Category, beating some tough opposition of 8 other Contractors from
across the UK. The panel of judges (all industry leaders) stating that they were impressed with the structure and ethos of the business and that made us stand out above the other finalists. Obviously very pleased to have won and seeing the words Brook and Mayo ‐ Electrical Contractors of the year flash up on the screen made us extremely proud.

We have moved!
With our continued success and subsequent growth we have outgrown our current home in North Hykeham and have invested in new, bigger premises!
The exciting move took place over the weekend of the 20th of April and we expect to be settled and fully operational by Monday the 23rd of April.
